Diane Ravitch has received hundreds of letters in response to her latest book, The Death and Life of the Great American School System, as well as her recent articles, interviews, and speeches. A number of writers have given permission to have their letters and comments reprinted here. Because of their volume, they have been divided into pages. Each page contains a variety of letters from educators, scholars, and others. There is also a page with all the letters arranged chronologically.
